King Kong Media Production is a diversified regional entertainment company, encompassing in the theatrical film development, artist management and production sector. Being in the creative sector, the design brief of their office space was intentionally designed as an adult playground. Flexible work spots, from hot desk to a dining/meeting table and bean bag seatings to sofa seatings, this work environment inspires the team to always think out of the box and enjoy coming to work on a daily basis. The floor space houses a karaoke room that sits 12 - 16 pax comfortably, a pool table, a digital dart machine, an arcade box, a beer tap pantry, a hot desk zone that sits 16 pax, a dining table/ meeting table that caters for 16 pax, an open kitchen and an open amphitheatre that invites you upon entering the lifestyle office. Designing an open spaced office is always challenging when it comes down to focusing on a featured focal point, the founder of the company is a Bearbrick enthusiast with a huge collection of limited edition pieces. Some of these Bearbrick figurings are as rare as only 10 pieces in the world, with a collection like this and taking the account of the value of these figurings, we went with designing a glass display cabinet that divides the spaces a little and also to use this feature display cabinet as the focal design to the open space.
